I have to say I don’t care for the inside of these planes , the way they look so disorganized like everything is just crammed in there. Where are the isles, you really can’t make them out at least from the picture so how would you get through all of that if you had an emergency? Don’t get me wrong it could be very efficient and very comfortable but your pictures don’t give that impression.

You did an excellent job with your blog; you gave us a lot of information to digest. I think you could incorporate some more pictures to show a little bit more of the plane but you put it together very well. I look forward to learning more about this company and the planes. Where do they fly out of? Is there anywhere in the United States? Thank you for the information, keep it up .

I suspect these amenities have little to do with actual customer demand – after all, the airlines don’t even call us customers. Several are starting to bring small, small perks back into the cabin. Despite having to pay for extra bags and invoking ire at the mere request for orange juice, we’re finally going to get something back! What that is depends on where you are in the world, and some of these amenities are downright bizarre.

Believe me they are very comfortable and have lots of room.

You will only ever find this type of seating on long distance flying planes. Within countries the distances are not that great so you get the smaller planes and not much room.

Etihad is the official airline of Abu Dhabi one of the United Arab Emirates.

Heaps of room. The sides of the ‘seats’ slide up so that you have your own private area. The seats also lie flat just like a bed.

I knew I had seen this type of airline seating somewhere before. And after Anne mentioned Abu Dhabi being one of the United Arab Emirates’, it rung a bell for me and I suddenly realized that I saw a similar type of booth style seating in one of the Sex And The City movies (I think it was part two) when the girls took a vacation to some swanky resort in, where else, Abu Dhabi.

I look forward to learning more about this company and the planes I have to admit that I have never heard of them of course I only worked in corporate jets and military not commercial planes. Where do they fly out of? Is there anywhere in the United States? Thank you for the information, I am going to do some further research about Etihad now.

This was very interesting to say the least. This is for overseas travel correct? That would explain the prices I guess. Where do you fly out of in the United States or do you at all? I am considering a trip to Africa do you fly there? This has been a very entertaining post and I hope that you will respond to my comment in your next post.

All prices are ex Australia. Etihad flies out of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and does fly to/from the USA into New York and Chicago

Etihad is a relatively ‘new’ airline and at the moment fly into/out of New York and Chicago.

Yes that would have been it and they stayed at a hotel called the Emirate Palace

The area in business class is large with plenty of room to move around and plenty of room for the amazing service to come to you.
